About me

Originally from Northern California, for the last ten years I've been living and working overseas, first in Africa and then Eastern Europe. My husband and I are currently living and working in Oman, in the Middle East.

Before moving overseas, I worked as a graphic designer in the Design and Exhibits departments at two museums in San Francisco. I believe no problems exist that can't be solved by better design. My children think it's normal to have a mother who rearranges hotel rooms.

I received an MFA in contemporary painting at the Fine Arts University of Bucharest where I was the oldest student, the only American and the only non-smoker.

Published Writing: Ongoing contributor of articles for U.S. Embassy Muscat publications, A Cup of Culture and a PInch of Crisis published by Tales from a Small Planet and artist profiles for 1st Art Gallery.
